Cherokee iowa | Cold storage lowest in ten years last month. More heifers being fed then last year I think but not quite sure. Strong beef demand is helping the Bolivian farmers expand and export. Get some of them dollars I say Bolivia my fellow citizens need some nice lean Bolivian hamburger for cheap I guess. Not like the rain forest is anything to keep around when you can make massive profits selling beef. Now farmers that leveled rain forest ten years ago and made a killing are trying to shut down the other farmers for clearing more. To protect the climate lol I can’t make this up. So idk but I got my eye on April fats on the board and I don’t see why it can’t touch $2. Up down and haul them to town. Herd is very much expanding but not in the USA. Can’t blame the farmer when your country pays to expand the herd. The USA cattlemen been waiting 2 year to expand. Just not enough incentive with cheap imports. So share a little profit down south with fellow beef farmer and thank him for leveling the rain forest next time you eat a hamburger. Need $2.15 fats to start the herd rebuild in my opinion. If so $2.42 would be the next target when I can’t buy heifers to feed. If don’t come it’s all thanks to other countries and their beef production. Godspeed for the trip is usually more exciting then the destination. Don’t risk what you can’t afford to risk. I figured I’ll at least get a suit when I finally lay down. Be more then what I came in with I suppose.
