| Why are you putting words in my mouth? Believe me, I got some eye-rolls when I touted the benefits of ethanol around some of the management
Show me where I said I was against ethanol, show me where I implied benzene was safe. Never once did I say it wasn't a carcinogen.
I worked around it for 30+ years. Not talking ppm, but 99% purity. I know exactly what it is and what the hazards are.
Since you know so much about refining, what do you suggest doing with the low value cracked c'3 and c'4 streams that feed alky units? Just burn it off in the flares?
