| In other words it would have been a lot cheaper to have just closed the border, continued determining men and women by the usual methods, not attempted to silence political opponents, not tried to force everyone to take an experimental shot, not make a martyr out of a man who died of a drug overdose, not tried to defund the police, not tried to redefine pedophiles as minor attracted persons, etc, etc.
We’ve been dragged so far down those society destroying paths by the current administration that any turmoil we face coming out from under their control is still much better than that path anyways.
Life could have remained normal for the last four years but the narrative was that we needed to freak out because the world as we knew it was ending. Oh, I’ll add climate change to that list also. | |
