| I am happy with all of my "solid, real, old" companies. I have some real stinkers in the penny stocks area, even though they sounded good when i bought in (nanci pelosi invested big in blsp? it must be a winner! Oh lord what a loss that is for me).
Invest in good solid well known companies, for the long term, and you will be fine. Also make a decision on how you want to invest. Dividend income? Company growth? Value investment? Hands-on or buy-and-forget? You can use any of these tools, but your personal long term goals will help guide you in what types of investments you should look for. Dont expect to get rich quick, it is a process, not an event.
Always remember it is a casino, never bet more than you can afford to lose.
Good luck john, you will do fine. | |
