On a side note it was a local retired farmer that was doing a 1031 exchange. This tax can down the road has really over inflated our land locally.
I agree completely. The 1031 system increases the demand for land, which is great for investors, sellers, real estate agents, and guys that already own a bunch of ground. Not so great for guys trying to grow that have no intention of selling anything. |
