If he doesn't have anybody to take over the farm, and is in good financial shape, it might be best to retire. Three years ago, my wife and I were offered a blank check ( development area) to sell the farm. We would have took them up on it if I didn't have two little boys who might want to farm one day. I'm only 44, would have had to find something to do to not go crazy, but I would not have HAD to work anymore.
Well your story doesn't make any sense either, if someone wants you to fill out the check so they can own your farm and your main concern is your two boys getting to farm, you'd go find 5x the acres somewhere else and start building a new headquarters. Any other good prosperity stories for a cold winter night? |
