Some things take the govt to help push along if we are to progress as a civilization. Oil is a finite resource. We won't see an end to it in our lifetime but why not figure out if we can extend it's life and have replacements ready to go? Private industry isn't going to make it go in the early stages without help. It's an old tired drum you are beating. Look forward.
