How many people worldwide die without oil? 80%? More?
PVA has a good point above, oil is a finite resource. I'll be dead before oil reserves are depleted but working on the next form of energy now seems prudent.
Oil is fairly cheap at the moment IMO, gasoline is sub $3 at the pump and taxes are about $1. |
