| It seems that most pile on every different demand on an EV in the North when we all know most of us have a stable of vehicles. We used to have a cheap car just to run around in. Had transmission trouble so it went to the junk yard. Wife wants to buy a LeSabre, I don't care about MPG at this stage in my life. We didn't drive the car when it was a blizzard out, or it was 30 below, or we needed a cross country trip. Most farmers fit that mold. I don't drive my 3/4 ton unless I need it either. I've said years ago a version of Moore's law will apply to EV batteries. $100/kwh used to be the ultimate goal. Eventually it hit there. | |
