A similar dough and flat iron is used to make Belgian Cookies- same idea, different nationality.
A similar dough is also used to make a Norwegian cookie called Krumkake- flat iron, but then rolled on a cone so it is in a roll.
Rosettes are another Scandinavian cookie, but are made with a different type of iron. A rosette is made by dipping the iron into the dough and then frying it in oil. Same taste as the others but different method. | |
