Cedar Rapids, Iowa | Like golfnut said, that's a rebranded Ubiquiti Litebeam. Way more antenna than you need for 450 feet. That model is capable of miles. A pair of the Ubiquiti NanoStation 5AC LOCOs would be a better choice at that distance - cheaper, smaller, and easier to aim. I'd personally just get the Ubiquiti branded stuff because I know it's rock solid and I have no idea what TP-Link has changed.
If you want to trench in a conduit and pull fiber, that's the other good option. You can buy pre-terminated fiber. Would probably be $200 for the fiber and another $100 for the modules and switches on each end. | |
