north central Iowa, Hampton		late to the party here but, my indoor method is

melt stick butter,
1 tsp "Greek seasoning"
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp Lowrey's season salt
1 cube beef bullion

in a shallow pan (old cake pan or the like)
this will do 3-4 steaks in the oven 350 for 8-12 min per side.
