NE Iowa
This is what we use for gestating sows - it’s a cargill style setup. The back is open above the concrete wall for airflow and we have partial drop down doors on the fronts for winter. We close up the backs for winter also. Waters are located at the bottom of the outside run. Each bay will comfortably hold 10 sows without a ton of scraping work - probably equivalent to 15 fat hogs. Works well during the summer/fall, decent during the spring, and not great during the winter.
