Pittsburg, Kansas | I had a brother that may have had something similar done. His neck operation was to relieve a nerve that was causing muscle loss in one of his arms. I don't know specifically what vertebrae were affected but it helped him a lot. Took quite a while to build the muscle back in that arm and he wished he would not have let if go as long as he did berore the operation.
I have had three laminectomys but all three each two years apart in the lower back at L5. Doc told me to not come back (told me to change occupations) as the next operation would involve fusing vertebrae together and would not be nearly as much fun.
