South Central MN
I trust a spinner spreader for application about as far as they throw fertilizer. Used to have urea topdressed with a spinner some years back for corn. Never again, every 3rd round with the combine came up short on bushels when I got to the end. The problem went away when I purchased my own sidedress bar. The air flow/boom type dry fertilizer spreaders do a much better job, especially when you have anything over a slight breeze.
