Subject: RE: Grid Sample Maps Lime question

east central MO
I am in East Central MO and it is definitely the CEC that is triggering your recs calling for lime. I don't know if that is a Water pH or a Salt pH but either way I wouldn't lime it. That high of CEC here in MO means higher clay content and it takes a while for it to raise the pH in that heavy of clay. Your Calcium levels are good so let it go for 2-3 more years and just take a pH test and see where you are then. I would like to see the Buffer pH to make sure you are good.
