Texas | Well , I don’t drink whiskey . Now on to what I think at valid points .
Wife’s school does have a full time Real officer there all the time .
The doors ate locked , despite the fact everyone knows me
I have to go to the front office and check in .
The front office is not locked - if someone wanted to they could get in .
Sit through a “ lockdown “ with wife inside school and it gets a fellow to thinking what could be done better .
The other poster made a valid point about the fire alarm .
Some of these people might just set the school on fire if they thought of it .
Our sheriffs department is spread pretty thin , but they don’t play on a school lockdown . DPS don’t play either and they show up too . It does make a fellow feel
A little better when you know how many show up .
It’s a dark day in our country when people think we need at least 2 law enforcement guys at a EMT / fire graduation.
One at each door .
I think it might lessen the chance damage if more law abiding people were armed ?
I’ll bet 90.% of us here got shot at they will get it back to them .
I check my pickup before I go there to make sure all my guns are out. I will not park on school grounds with a gun .
