When I was in Norway in 2018 they had the electronic price tags for the items on the shelf. When the price was set for the scanners it also set the price for the item on the shelf.
Has anyone seen that here in the US yet.?
Various store chains in the US are experimenting/piloting digital price tags. Problem is that US stores typically have way more SKUs than European stores, and there are more stores across each chain. It’s a big investment.
Not to mention they get stolen and/or intentionally damaged at a way higher rate in the US.
