I also think these are a good way to go if I was ever gonna do something like that. Get the cattle outside when it’s nice and let them lay out in the sunshine and not need quite so much bedding, but also enough room to lock them up when it’s crappy out. Probably not super cost effective unless you can tie it into an already existing shed or concrete lot however.
