SC Kansas | You didn’t say if this is irrigated or dryland. We like to plant irrigated into 3’ rye, wait to spray till they’re up, ten days to two weeks later.
Dryland is very challenging because it you guess wrong on planting date and burndown,you strike out,btdt.
Irrigated is planted anytime after mid April, dryland around June 1 ,but I’m going to keep going later until we get more summer rains. | |
