Glad to see rye works, we are doing it the same except without the strip, just no-tilling into brown dead rye. One of the biggest things we have seen is water infiltration is improved with the rye.

Do you have any data comparing strips to no-till? Or strips with rye compared to conventional with no rye?

We are meandering down the path of buying a strip rig with a fert cart and making fall strips in our rye to plant into. Maybe we can let the rye grow a little longer in the spring and still get a warm strip to plant into is our goal.
