A reduction in herbicide use helps offset the seed and application cost. Our farm hasn't used a "pre" in front of soybeans in 9 years.


I've used cover crops for the last 13 yrs for wind erosion to protect young cotton plants, so I'm not a novice. I don't see reduction in herbicides and nutrients. The increase in water infiltration and organic matter is not anything i've seen during my 13 yrs. That all being stated, I'm a big advocate for single species CC......:)
