nc ks | What I read is there was still money in the second bill for farmers, but why? Why is there anything in it besides basic funding of the government? Any time you have one of these things there is infinitely more pork in it in order to get it passed. I understand now why we should get rid of the debt ceiling. Congress always grandstands and forces unneccessary spending in order to agree with raising the debt ceiling. It ends up costing more to have a debt ceiling. It is line item veto time, though that could be dangerous too.
All of this hubabaloo about funding the gov and sleepy keeps announcing huge spending every other day. How does that work? | |
