+1 good residuals and a timely post are the two most important things. If they do get tall on you, do 2 passes 7-10 days apart. My brother started spraying all of our field edges a week before he actually starts his bean posts with straight liberty. Then comes back with liberty, clethodim, roundup and whatever residual and does the whole field. Works almost perfect.
