North central, IA | We have three. They've gotten progressively better over time. The newest one is on the main floor. It has a dirt/dust bin in the docking/charging station which works pretty slick. It also does a great job of remembering the room layouts and not getting stuck or lost.
The next oldest one gets carried from the lower level to the top floor. It generally works pretty good. My wife does a lot of maintenance on it, replacing and cleaning brushes, motors, and batteries. She's become a pretty accomplished Roomba mechanic.
The oldest one is a problem child. My son-in-law says, "you don't need to worry about that robot taking over the world. It can't even find its way back to the charging station." | |
