| I'm north of ya, right up against Iowa. We always spread urea preplant. We couldn't seem to get at it in time to sidedress, but we consistently were at 0.9 lbs of nitrogen per bushel. On the cream color milo, we got it to 0.7 a couple times. We started planting population at 80k, but backed it down to 65k, and saw no yield decrease. Standability was better as well. We planted LG milo, pioneer and becks. Becks always has the best emergence.
