Give me an 8100 every day of the week. I wouldn't be afraid of the 7.6 in the earlier models either, it's the rougher 12-13 gear shift that makes the earlier model less desirable to me.


Yep, the late models get you a smoother shifting transmission, and the 8.1L engine. 8X00/8X10 series everyday for the jobs you listed.

If I found a great deal on an early 8X00, I wouldn't let the rougher shifting stop me.
