SW OH | We've been through this many times in the last 50 years. Make an early cutting, then notill the corn. Back when we had dairy cows that early cutting was chopped the day after cutting for silage. Roundup spray time was critical before roundup ready corn. It's nice to have 7 days of regrowth before the roundup. Today it's not. Today we would bale as dry hay, weather depending. If the weather won't cooperate, the hay gets round baled and wrapped as silage.
