Sac & Story county IA
The side draw is tough. I was a director of an elevator that had those. One morning, a line of corn on the ground 4 feet away from spout. Also a stream of corn consistent with a too full truck taking corner fast. We called sheriff. They took pictures. We file insurance claim. Insurance would not pay because of measuring one load in a big bin. There are high security padlocks. I bought a box of 10 padlocks keyed alike to use around the farm. One got corroded bad and I had to cut it off. Surprisingly easy.
I secure my grain facilities with complicated electrical. Hidden switches, start phase converter away from other things. Most all big disconnect panels have lock out tag out provisions. Cameras are getting way better. But it takes a lot of light. Not going to get a license number if headlights are coming toward camera.
