| Morning long time reader, few times poster. Few days ago at my off farm job they brought me into the office very early in the morning and said were doing cutbacks and I was one of them. For me, it was a great job with the Ability I possess, which wasn’t much, but I got paid to evaluate components and performance of machines. My dad always stated I was good at breaking stuff, so it was a natural. Out of my group there was 30 of us so ,Two older and two young just starting men we’re told we’re done. Was told the cutbacks for nationwide as a company is all over North America so they’re trying to increase earnings. It was was rather unique ride home when I called the wife and said we’re going out for breakfast on a Tuesday morning. When I was a young man just getting started, I had to have a job when the farm got rolling. Every now and then I find myself thinking I have to get this done by this time by this date and then I realize I got an all the time I need now. Now we have to figure out this Medicare sign up and then a few months later sign up for Social Security. Don’t think I feel old but I guess I am. Paul | |
