WTW you are welcome. This was really the point of my post about watching for the build up of ice if you are using air pressure to load by.

The enforcement part really isn’t that bad as it is what allows us to haul winter weights. On the seven axle truck and trailer I jump from 54,300kg to 65,000kg and it also allows us to bypass the DOT scale. I don’t see it as the government being heavy handed but making the industry responsible for policing itself and making transportation of logs more economical.
