The enforcement part really isn’t that bad as it is what allows us to haul winter weights. On the seven axle truck and trailer I jump from 54,300kg to 65,000kg and it also allows us to bypass the DOT scale. I don’t see it as the government being heavy handed but making the industry responsible for policing itself and making transportation of logs more economical. | |
