Why? Had a JD855, was a good tractor. Probably better thought out than the Agco ST28A (orange MF) we have now. Just fixed an electrical gremlin on the Agco. Did not have that issue on the JD, although the tach and tach drive cable was not particularly long lived on that tractor. Engine in the Agco is smoother/quieter than the Yanmar in the JD.

I'm talking more about that 45 hp range in the MF. I'm a big fan of the 3 cylinder perkins engine.
I have no experience with those little toy tractors, except that the Kubota's do have a very good reputation and some of my neighbors have them.
