| We have a nice pit bottom bin from the 80s that has an auger attached to the pit. Runs from the bottom of the pit out of the side of the bin. Maybe 30 feet long. Just nearly clears the top of our lower side grain trailers. It had a pain in the ass gas powered motor on it that got thrown in the junk pile this year. I want to put and electric motor on it. It’s 30 long and 6” wide. And I have 100 amp service close buy. Is there any math i could look at to figure what size motor would work on that?? It has a 8 inch pulley on the end of the auger still but it’s hard on belts and needs changed | |
