SE ND | Run N14 here in mine currently. I have nothing bad to say about it but it's the only engine I've ever owned.
I have been leaning toward Pete or KW simply due to usually cheaper parts and decent aftermarket support. At the moment I have little need for a sleeper and would prefer a day cab. Doesn't have to be one necessarily though. Cummins or Cat is what I was leaning toward. Another Eaton manual just due to the outrageous costs I've heard from guys that have had their auto's go down. Plus when they did they were left stuck where they went down. I was also hoping to stay pre 2006/07 but finding one that isn't hammered out is hard.
I know there are tons of options and everyone has an opinion on each. I guess I got what I asked for, ha.
