| Not knowing angle. I have a 8”x31 a 5hp electric motor works great. But you likely are at a MUCH steeper angle. I would suggest 7.5 hp. Should be fine. Is the bottom section double flighting? Do you want it really fast? Wet corn? The pulley size matters. I put a smaller pulley on my 51’ as coming out of screener.
When I quit using screener I left it. *slower speed *. It easily handles loads for my needs. A 7.5 hp on 51’ imo a bit low with full speed
