Subject: RE: Cage free eggs

Amboy, IL
Correct. Cage Free has more death loss, fewer eggs per chicken per year, lower feed effi. California sure knows how to screw things up. Liberals. This is the main reason for higher egg prices over the last few years. The Jan 1 2025 deadline forced the entire industry to build new buildings and they are less profitable and harder on the birds. And usually mean more labor per bird in the houses.
