| I argued with the place I order blades after I got a bad batch. They did not believe I had a bad batch even though I could not get more than one cut from a hard back carbon blade. (The next batch worked fine)
They told me to buy carbide or bi-metal and I keep buying hard back carbon. Now I know hard back carbon will not last near as long but most of the time they will make dozens of good cuts until some weird cut or vice let-go wrecks it. I pay the bills and I know around here hard back carbon is far cheaper than bi-metal. Bi-metal has many advantages and I would use it in a second if someone else paid the bill. It is a sick feeling when a slight mistake takes a tooth off bi-metal.
BTW I first used bi-metal in the mid 70's. | |
