What is your idle oil pressure? 30psi is plenty within specs, usually around 10 per 1000rpm as a general rule.
That "general rule" may be OK for gaspots, but not diesels. Many semi-truck engines today are lumbering down the highway between 1000-1500 RPM. I can assure you that 10-15 PSI of oil pressure under those kinds of loads is nowhere near sufficient. |
