Driftless SW Wisconsin | I unrolled a bale of questionable quality hay today. I don't have any type of unrolling tool so basically I just push the unwrapped bale down the hill with the skid loader spears.
Sometimes the bale stops part way down the hill ( as pictured) and I put the rest in a feeder. Sometimes it doesn't stop and unrolls all the way.
It would be nice to have some sort of device to be able to control the amount I unroll. I know they exist but with a small herd it's difficult to rationalize an expensive piece of equipment.
