Coles County, Illinois | On mine Just after the pump I have a valve that I almost never use. What it does is allow the sparge flow to go back to the inlet side of the pump instead of into the tank. Their explanation in the book is to use this when the main tank gets very low. Directing that flow back to the pump is supposed to help holding stable pressure. I run the vast amount of return thru a sparge tube that creates a rolling motion in the tank. I also use anti-foam so I can handle greater agitation without issues. I have less than 20 liters left in tank before my pressure drops off.
I'd suggest you find the flow diagram for your sprayer. Looking at your pictures you have more directional valves than I so my experience isn't as helpful as someone that has your setup.
Many very experienced sprayer operators on here just don't get positive displacement sprayer systems Take the extra time reading the manual. Your Hardi is a very well engineered product. I have over 50,000 acres thru mine.
P.S. Get a pressure washer to keep the outside stuff cleaner. You don't need to be getting pesticides on you when doing maintenance.
