Hannibal, MO | Check relief if it has one. Maybe in the filter head. We had a TG305 years ago similar problem. Was good when cold and first started but threw the alarm when got warmed up. Confirmed with gauge. Was not totally dropping out but was not enough. Ended up being the end of the pick up tube broke off. Those engines in that application was bolted to the transmission and hanged off the bell housing with no front support. So you could get some weird vibrations to cause problems. A lot of heavy PTO work would do it. The other problem is if you need to pull the pan you are going to pull the engine. So you are probably looking at an overhaul since you will have the labor in removing the engine. Just my opinion. | |
