I’ve never seen it volatize per se, but it doesn’t take much drift at all to really mess beans or alfalfa up in a big way. I won’t spray it I’m still air where the fine droplets seem to hang.

And as far as sprayer clean out goes, I’ve never had issues. Follow the label, use bleach like it says. I’ve gone straight from laudis to spraying alfalfa. Follow the label. Purge the booms nightly with clear water, purge the booms after a couple hours of sitting. Basically follow the label, and adhere to normal sound practices and you’ll be fine.
