Southern Missouri
For some reason we like the ground speed full speed ahead , and as Lee says if streaking needs to be held to a minimum you really do need to narrow up , if you applying 3 gallon to the acre on 40 acres it’s gonna be 120 gallons total applied wether you do 30 ft swath or 20 ft swath , each 18 gallon fillup is gonna do 6 acres , it’s just when doing 20 ft instead of 30 ft the drone is gonna make more passes, but when they’re running 30 mph and turn on a dime and give you back a nickel change , it’s a only a matter of a few minutes longer to spray that 40 acres at 20 ft swath instead of 30 , and in our experience it gives way better job , but again that’s just our opinion, but we looked so bad trying to desicate or burn down at 30 ft plus swath and then started backing that down and started looking so much better , we’re going to have to have it proven to our very very hard heads before we’ll go back to anything wider than we’re doing now and the new 150 pro that sprays at 30 plus mph we’re gonna start out burn down this spring at 19 ft swath and full speed and start the old experimental process all over again ,the new 150 is 18 gallon tank and will spray 3 gallon acre at over 30 mph we’re being told
