| Getting ready to calibrate my dry spreader recently updated to variable rate fertilizer. Trying to come up with an economical way to weigh the fertilizer run out the back. If I tee a gauge into my loader lift will I be able to get an accurate enough weight? I thought maybe I could put some tractor weights into the bucket and do some calibrating. I could spring for a loader weight system. Or get a platform scale, but then have to lift container to dump. A loader system seems the easiest, just dump bucket back into truck or spreader. How are the rest of you doing it? | |
