People change their minds only when they want to. They have to have a want and/or need to change their minds. Doing the "same ol, same ol" is the comfort zone. Most people don't like change, preferring the status quo. Especially me. Takes effort to change one's mind and admit they have been wrong or led astray.
In my wife and I's case, we just finally got sick of being sick and started seeking alternatives. The alternative worked so I tend to believe the doctors that led me away from conventional medical thinking to something that actually works. It is hard to unsee what I have seen in myself, my wife and some very close friends. I hope others find such health improvements, whatever path enlightenment takes them down.
