we are dryland, 100 bushel yield goal. so 100% of our fertilizer on with our planter. Dribbled out back, both sides of the furrow. We use a really good humic acid as our nitrogen stabilizer, along with thio sulfate. so the fert blend is a blend of n, p, k, s and micros.
we used to be 2x2, but the extra cut was hard on good stubble to cut twice, and it was gouging out the terraces. we love a naked planter.
