Hennepin, IL | Your timing is just impeccable lol. Airforce and RowFlow are true with a Gen 3, technically speaking. Basically they just took hardware they'd already made and reconfigured software to run them in those applications. The "Airforce" system is pretty simple, just need a compressor, the newer CAN tank pressure sensor, and what they were calling the Cleansweep module which is now the Dual Pressure Control Module, and obviously your 5+ load sensors like before. For the compressor you can use an Airforce compressor, just need the kit to bypass the control module and valves. The Gen 3 "Row Flow" is a bit more complicated. Essentially you swap the Row Flow module for a Rate Module per hydraulic drive and a Swath Module per 12 sections. There's some power considerations that can add to the harnessing depending on how the planter is set up, but those modules plug into the hydraulic motor harness and clutch harnesses that Row Flow used. To answer the OP's question on what is common between a Gen 1 and a 3, not much. Basically you'll reuse the GPS adapter, Radar adapter, and power adapter if you have one. | |
