1. I wd think if you trusted him enuff to make a deal with phone and pictures you cd trust him that the equipment is "there."
2. Wd also think you wd get a "feel" for him over the phone.
3. Call some businesses near him and see if he's respected in the area.
4. I wdnt want to put it on the truckers shoulders to check out the condition. Providing its still there, hopefully.
