| I bought a tractor outta NY, traded tractors into IN, bought a planter outta WI, bought a combine outta WI. All site unseen and all 2 years old or less, so pretty big ticket items.
Its all about communication. If you have a bad feeling you need to go look at it.
Otherwise ask for an invoice, send check based on invoice. And get the deal done.
I have sold several high dollar items as well thru FB marketplace. Again communication.
As others have said see if you can find an info on individual on internet if you are leery. That said if you are that leery maybe you need to go look
