Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I agree the Ag Leader kit seems like overkill.

I would think that a box with 3 branches should work. This box could just sit on the floor or somewhere out of the way in the tractor.

One branch would lead to a quick disconnect for switched 12V power and ground. Another branch would lead to the 6 pin ISO branch on the InCommand display cable. The third branch would lead out the back of the tractor to a connector that would mate with the implement cable at the hitch. The connector at the hitch could be the standard ISO type or a pair of your own choosing.

The applicator would be connected/disconnected at that hitch connector and the portable box assembly could remain in the tractor.

It would be quite easy to move the portable box and cables to another tractor provided it has a mate for power/ground and a display cable for the InCommand that has the ISO branch. To reduce cab clutter, the portable box could be removed and stored elsewhere when not needed.
